Core Focus for Late Winter Yoga Practice: Python for Yin Yoga Practice

Yin yoga is low and slow: a practice of giving in to gravity for 2–5 (sometimes more) minutes at a time. Yin yoga creates change differently than energetic hatha (remember. all practice of asana is hatha) and the two in combination can be magic. This is why Healing Yoga recommends that one practice per week is a yin practice. Yin is great in the mornings, and is one of the recommended practices for after 4pm — the other being Restorative.
