Hey! My name is Christine. I've been helping out of pain and into resilience for over 15 years as a yoga and meditation teacher. By designing progressive, personalized practices and supporting people in their implementation, I've helped thousands out of pain. I practice and teach where cutting edge scientific research and ancient texts meet and translate that for other people.
Here are three core principles:
- If everyone had the most basic tools of yoga and support for practicing them, our world would be a better place. Yoga supports your body's innate healing responses.
- The "basic" postures of yoga are the most powerful when practiced fully; you don't have to balance your body on your arms, put your feet behind your head or tie your arms in knots.
- Everyone can practice yoga. As one of the greats, Judith Hanson Lasater, says, "Any part of the pose is the pose, if practiced fully."
